Mew doesn’t exist without our volunteers and fosters. Behind every cat we adopt is a volunteer who has given their time and resources. They are no stranger to both the heartbreak and reward of working with animals. Volunteering in rescue is a selfless labor of love and a priceless service to their community. Petco Kitties

Help care for the cats at the Rogers Petco Store! Volunteers check on the cats, feed and clean the cubbies. We use a sign up sheet to manage the schedule. We notrmally put an average of 4 cats in each week Thursday- Monday and the cats are checked on twice per day.



Boots on The Ground/Transport

Do you like being on the move? We need volunteers to do a variety of things, from just scanning a microchip, to dropping off supplies, to picking up cats! Lots of variety here.



Fostering

Fostering will always be our biggest need. It’s a few weeks for you, but a lifetime impact for the cat. Fostering is a rewarding, albeit emotional, experience. Sign up here.

Social Media

This is how we tell our story and it’s SO important! We need multiple people to run all 3 platforms (FB, IG, TT). We prefer you have at least some experience running a page already.

Design

We need someone familiar with Adobe or similar tools to create flyers, social media graphics etc. We need print and digital assets.

WordPress/SEO

Our website is built on wordpress with a Divi front layer. We could use someone to help build and design pages, as well as do some SEO work. We also need help with a foster site that is pretty much ground up.

Trap Neuter Return

The key to solving the root cause of NWA’s overpopulation crisis, is to do TNR. This is going out the location (we focus on benton county) to trap the cat and get it to the vet, then release back to its location.



Grant Writing

A non-profit cannot survive without grants. Grant writing is a valuable skill which takes time, patience and lot of data gathering. It’s an invaluable way to help support the rescue and the cats.
